  • Do not bleach on the treatment area.
  • Do not use sun beds.
  • Do not sun bathe.
  • Do not use tanning cream.

Please shave the treated area the day before treatment.

AFTERCARE

After laser treatment, it is common for the area to feel slightly warm. It is also common to experience redness, swelling and mild tenderness. There may also be blisters and scabbing. These symptoms may appear immediately or a few days after treatment.

Your skin will be fragile for 2 to 3 days. Use gentle cleaning, do not rub the treatment area and moisturise frequently.

For 24-48 hours after, no hot baths, shower in tepid water, avoid excessive sweating, saunas, working out.

The use of 100% Aloe vera gel can be applied throughout the aftercare if necessary.

An ice cold compress can be applied if the area feels hot or uncomfortable.

Avoid sun exposure,  a high SPF 30+ should be applied. Excessive exposure can cause hypo or hyper pigmentation of the skin.

Stay hydrated.

Avoid smoking after treatment as this constricts the capillaries and taxes the immune system.

Follow pre-care guidelines for 5 weeks after treatment.
